Mr. Saunders (Putney/ Hallway, Landing & Stairs)
This double fronted Georgian villa has a commanding entrance hall
and staircase. After removing all old paper from the walls & ceilings
we had to undertake some plaster repairs. We then lined the ceilings
and crosslined the walls. The ceilings and cornice were finished in
white emulsion. The woodwork finished in white eggshell. We then hung
a beautiful bold designed French wallpaper to finish the look.
Antiques Shop (Fulham Road SW6)
The shop is based over 3 floors of this 1850's building. It retains
all it's original features. We introduced an abrasion resistant paint
system to the woodwork. Flexible undercoats and a white satin enamel
finish with great colour retention that take's knocks and is easily
cleaned. One asset to the owner is that the paint systems extends
his maintenance schedule. Once the systems been applied, future redecorating
is easy as this paint is designed to finish with one coat. i.e.. further
building the paint system.
Ms. Woods (Richmond, Exterior redecorations)
This Victorian Townhouse with original sash windows hadn't been repainted
in years. Two of the sixteen sashes and three of the windowsills were
beyond repair. We had new sashes made and glazed and the windowsills
replaced. All defective paint on the good windows was removed and
everything redecorated with the dulux weathersheild paint system.
Ms. Bramble (Weybridge)
We completely stripped this apartment of all existing wallpaper. Prepared
all the walls and ceilings and used a lining paper to give us a good
surface for painting. We finished the ceilings and all the woodwork
in an off white, and the walls with pale pastel colours. Creating
a very soft simple feel of space and light.
Mr Matthews (Esher, Fantasy room)
Fantasy or themed rooms are becoming popular. We were asked to create
an underwater theme for the walls around an indoor pool. By using
a mixture of hand painted images, paint effects, props and cleaver
lighting. Working closely with the customer the room was transformed
into a mini Atlantis.
